Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect EGR, IAC, TPS and MAP connectors. Disconnect brake vacuum hose and PCV hose from intake manifold. Remove air duct. Remove throttle cable from throttle body. Disconnect vacuum hoses from intake manifold.
  2. Clamp and disconnect coolant hoses from throttle body. Remove bolts from rear of fuel line bracket and rear support bracket. Disconnect EGR pipe. Remove 3 nuts from top of manifold and 3 bolts from underside of manifold. Remove manifold.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
