Gear Position Switch Test (A/T)

  1. Disconnect gear posit ion switch connector, located above transaxle. See Fig 1 .
  2. On all models, using a DVOM, check for continuity between specified terminals of gear position switch. See GEAR POSITION SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. Replace gear position switch if continuity is not as specified.

Park (P) 1, 3 & 8
Neutral (N) 1, 3 & 10
