Solenoid Pull-In Coil Test

Connect negative battery lead to terminal "M" and ground. See Figure . Connect battery positive lead to solenoid terminal "S". Pinion should extend. If pinion does not extend, replace solenoid. If pinion extends, go to SOLENOID HOLD-IN COIL TEST  .
