Charge Warning Light Check

  1. Turn ignition on. If CHARGE light illuminates, go to next step. If CHARGE warning light does not illuminate, perform "L" circuit open test. See "L" CIRCUIT OPEN TEST  .
  2. Start engine. If CHARGE warning light turns off, perform IG circuit voltage check. See IG CIRCUIT VOLTAGE CHECK. If CHARGE warning light does not turn off, perform "L" circuit shorted test. See "L" CIRCUIT SHORTED TEST  .
