Transmission & Control Module Verification

NOTE: Transmission and control module verification should be performed to ensure proper control module is used in accordance with transmission application.
  1. Note transmission part number stamped on identification plate on side of transmission case. See Figure .
  2. Note location of control module (mounted below driver's side of instrument panel on 1995 models, or behind center of instrument panel on 1996 models) and Isuzu part number stamped on unit. See Figure , Figure and Figure .
  3. Using transmission part number and control module part number, ensure proper control module is installed. See appropriate TRANSMISSION & CONTROL MODULE APPLICATION  . Replace control module if incorrect unit is installed.
