Front Door & Tailgate Key Switch (Detect Switch)

Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between detect switch connector terminals No. 1 and 3. SeeFigure . Continuity should exist with door locked and should not exist with door unlocked. If continuity is not as specified, replace detect switch. If continuity is as specified, repair circuit as necessary.
