ECM Main Relay

  1. Remove relay from connector. Test for continuity between terminals No. 3 and 5. See Figure . Continuity should exist. Test for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 5. Continuity should not exist.
  2. Apply battery voltage between terminals No. 2 and 4. Test for continuity between terminals No. 3 and 5. Continuity should not exist. Test for continuity between terminals No. 1 and 5. Continuity should exist. Replace relay if defective.
