Lock Switch Circuit

  1. Disconnect control unit connector (located behind right side kick panel). Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between control unit connector (harness side) terminal No. 1 and ground. SeeFigure . Continuity should exist when left front door lock knob is in unlock position.
  2. Check continuity between control unit connector terminal No. 2 and ground. Continuity should exist when left front door lock knob is in lock position. If circuit does not test as specified, door lock switch or switch circuit is faulty.
