Visual Check
- Inspect vacuum hoses for splits, kinks and improper connection. For vacuum hose routing, see the VACUUM DIAGRAMS - 2.3L article.
- Ensure ignition wires do not show signs of cracking, hardness and carbon tracking. Check for proper ignition wire routing and firing order.
- Ensure wiring is connected properly and not pinched or cut.
