Solenoid Pull-In Coil Test

Connect negative battery lead to terminal "M" and ground. See Figure or Figure . Connect battery positive lead to solenoid terminal "C". Pinion should flutter. If pinion does not flutter, replace solenoid. If pinion flutters, go to SOLENOID HOLD-IN COIL TEST  .
