Door Lock Control Unit

  1. Disconnect control unit connector. Apply battery voltage to control unit terminal No. 4 and ground terminal No. 8. SeeFigure . Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between terminals No. 1 and 8, and terminals No. 6 and 8. Continuity should exist.
  2. Ground terminal No. 5. Current should be present at terminal No. 1 for about one second. Disconnect ground from terminal No. 5 and ground terminal No. 2. Current should be present at terminal No. 6 for about one second. If control unit does not test as described, replace control unit.
