Solenoid Pull-In Coil Test

Connect negative battery lead to terminal "C" (terminal "M" on 3.2L) and ground. See Figure or Figure . Connect battery positive lead to solenoid terminal 50 (terminal "C" on 3.2L). Pinion should flutter. If pinion does not flutter, replace solenoid. If pinion flutters, go to SOLENOID HOLD-IN COIL TEST  .
