Bench Testing: Stator
- Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between stator leads. Ohmmeter should read approximately .07 ohm at 68°F (20°C). If continuity does not exist between leads, replace stator.
- Connect ohmmeter between stator core and each stator lead. If continuity does not exist, stator is good. If continuity exists, stator is grounded and must be replaced.
