Removal & Installation (2.3L)

  1. Remove air cleaner assembly. Drain cooling system. Remove necessary control cables, electrical connections, vacuum hoses and fuel lines for intake manifold removal.
  2. Remove intake manifold retaining bolts, intake manifold and gasket. Remove fuel pump retaining bolts and fuel pump.
  3. To install reverse removal procedures. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article. Ensure NEW gaskets are used. Refill coolant.
