Pressure Tank Bleeding
- Clean master cylinder cap and surrounding area, and remove cap. With pressure tank at least 1/2 full, connect pressure tank to master cylinder using proper adapter(s). Start engine and run it at idle.
- Attach bleed hose to first bleed screw to be serviced. See BRAKE LINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE table. Place other end of hose in clean transparent container. Partially fill container with clean brake fluid until end of hose is submerged in fluid.
- Open release valve on pressure tank. Open bleed screw 1-2 turns, noting fluid flow. When fluid flowing into container is clear and bubble free, close bleed screw securely.
- Finish bleeding system, in the same manner, using appropriate sequence. Close release valve, and remove pressure tank from master cylinder. Check master cylinder reservoir fluid level.
