CAUTION: Ensure ignition is off when disconnecting or reconnecting power supply to ECM.
  1. After repairs are performed, clear ECM memory of all stored trouble codes. To clear memory, turn ignition off.
  2. On Impulse, remove ECM fuse (30A) from fuse block, located in left front corner of engine compartment, for at least 30 seconds. Replace fuse.
  3. On Trooper, disconnect Green fusible link at fusible link box located in right front corner of engine compartment, for at least 30 seconds.
NOTE: The Green fusible link is connected to a White wire.
  4. On all models, trouble codes can also be cleared by disconnecting vehicle battery. However, other memory functions (clock, radio, etc.), will require resetting.
