Power Door Lock System

The door lock system consists of a door lock control unit, door lock switch, and door lock actuator. See Figure . The door lock control unit, always supplied with the battery voltage, can actuate the door lock mechanism on the passenger side by using the door locking cylinder or the door inside locking knob on the driver side. Locking or unlocking the lock switch on the driver side causes the door lock mechanism on the passenger side to be locked or unlocked. At this time current flows for 0.5-0.9 second from door lock control unit to door lock actuator to run the motor.
