ECM Ignition Power Supply

  1. ECM relay is activated by ignition switch and supplies battery power to ECM. On Amigo, main relay is powered through 10A fuse (No. 8) in fuse box. Main relay should always have power at Black wire that is powered by 60A main fuse located near battery.
  2. On Pickup, main relay is powered through 10A fuse (No. 8) in fuse box. Main relay should always have power at Black wire that is powered by 10A fuse in fuse and relay box located in engine compartment.
NOTE: Testing of individual components does not isolate possible shorts or opens in the control harness of electronically controlled systems. Use an ohmmeter to isolate shorts or opens in harness.
