Air Induction Valve

  1. Remove air cleaner. Remove the air induction valve. See Figure . Disconnect rubber hose to suction pipe. Apply vacuum to air induction valve diaphragm. Ensure air flows from filter side to outlet side of valve. Ensure air does NOT flow from outlet side to filter side. Release vacuum.
  2. Ensure only small amount of air will flow from filter side to outlet side. If air does not flow as indicated, replace air induction valve.
