Alternator - NIPPONDENSO: Description

Nippondenso 3-phase alternators utilize 3 positive and 3 negative diodes to rectify current. Charging system voltage is controlled by an internal Integrated Circuit (IC) voltage regulator.

I-Mark 1.5L engine is equipped with a 45-amp alternator on models without A/C or a 60-amp alternator on models with A/C. I-Mark 1.6L turbo engine is equipped with a 60-amp alternator. Impulse 2.0L and 2.3L engines are equipped with a 75-amp alternator.
