Ecu Code 66 (Impulse) - Knock Sensor Circuit

  1. Disconnect ECU harness connector and check that no continuity exists between harness connector pin No. 29 and ground. If continuity exists, check knock sensor harness.
  2. Continuity should exist between ECU harness connector pin No. 29 and White wire, and between pin No. 41 and Black wire. No continuity should exist between pin No. 29 and ground. If continuity test are proper, replace knock sensor. Clear code. Test drive vehicle. Access trouble codes to ensure fault is corrected.
