Ecu Code 64 - Fuel Injector Transistor

  1. Turn ignition key OFF. Check insulation and contact at terminals of intermediate engine harness connector H14. See Fig 1 and Fig 2 . If connector terminals and wiring are okay, go to step 2). If connector terminals and wiring damaged or worn, repair or replace as necessary.
  2. Disconnect ECM 10-pin connector and check resistance from terminals 6 and 7 to ground (1 and 2 on Pickup and Trooper). Resistance should be nearly 0 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, repair affected circuit from ECM. If resistance is as specified, check for loose fitting terminals in ECM connector. If terminals are okay, replace ECM.
