Injector Opening Pressure: I-Mark

  1. Install injection nozzle holder assembly to nozzle tester. Adjust the nozzle opening pressure by changing pressure adjusting shim until desired pressure is obtained.
  2. Check nozzle opening pressure by pumping tester lever once per second. Nozzle opening pressure can be changed by change of adjusting shim thickness at the rate of 68 psi (4.8 kg/cm2 ) every thickness change of the adjusting shim by 0.0016" (0.04 mm). Nozzle opening pressure should be 1706 psi (120 kg/cm2 ).
