Throttle Position Sensor

  1. Use a voltmeter set on the 6 volt scale. Jumper positive test lead to Blue/Yellow wire. Jumper negative test lead to Blue/Red wire.
  2. Open throttle control lever .27" (7 mm) from idle stop screw. Voltmeter should read 3.3-4.4 volts. If not, replace throttle position sensor.
