Bench Tests: Armature

Check external condition of armature for scoring or other damage. Measure shaft distortion with dial indicator. Replace armature if shaft distortion exceeds .003" (.08 mm) on I-Mark (Diesel) models, or .004" (.10 mm) on all other models.
