ACTIVE TRACE CONTROL SYSTEM SYMPTOMS

Perform the "Self Diagnostic Result" using CONSULT before the symptom diagnosis. Perform the trouble diagnosis if any DTC is detected.

Symptom		Possible cause	Inspection item
Active trace control inoperative/ineffective	No active trace control assist	Active trace control selected OFF in the PERSONAL setting screen of the Infiniti drive mode selector.	Change active trace control selection in the PERSONAL setting screen to ON.
		VDC function is turned OFF.	Turn the VDC function ON.
		Brake system malfunction.	Repair brake system malfunction.
		Power train system malfunction.	Repair power train system malfunction.
		Certain roads, inclement weather or driving conditions.	System is functioning normally. Confirm the condition with the customer.
	Excessive lag on turns	Wheel alignment.	Repair alignment malfunction.
		Road wheel tire condition is abnormal. Road wheel tire size is abnormal.	Check the road wheel tire.
