Confirmation Procedure

If DTC P010B is displayed with other DTC, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for other DTC.

Is applicable DTC detected?

YES

Perform diagnosis of applicable DTC. Refer to DTC INDEX .

NO

GO TO 2.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.
2. Turn ignition switch ON.
3. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds.

If engine will not start or stops soon, wait at least 10 seconds with engine stopped (Ignition switch ON) instead of running engine at idle speed.

GO TO 3.

1. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.
2. Start engine and drive the vehicle as per the similar conditions to Freeze Frame Data for more than 5 seconds.

   Hold the accelerator pedal as steady as possible.

   CAUTION: Always drive vehicle in safe manner according to traffic conditions and obey all traffic laws when driving.

   • ENGINE SPEED
   • COOLANT TEMP
   • VEHICLE SPEED

Is 1st trip DTC detected?

YES

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

NO

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Inspection .

NO

Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
