DTC Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY

If DTC P1233 or P2101 is displayed with DTC P1238 or P1290, first perform the confirmation procedure (trouble diagnosis) for DTC P1238 or P1290.

Is DTC P1238 or P1290 detected?

    YES

    Perform diagnosis of applicable.

    NO

    GO TO 2.

  2. CHECK FUSE
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Pull out 15A fuse (No. 63) from IPDM E/R.
    3. Check that 15A fuse is not blowing.

    Is the fuse blown (open)?

    YES

Replace the fuse after repairing the applicable circuit.

    NO

    GO TO 3.

  3. CHECK THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR RELAY INPUT SIGNAL
