Diagnosis Procedure

Check that DTC is not detected with electronic stability program control unit.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

NO

Refer to DTC Index .

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect BCM connector and electronic stability program control unit connector.
3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and electronic stability program control unit harness connector.

4. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

   BCM		--	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   E15	121	Ground	Not existed

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

Perform the trouble diagnosis for CAN communication system. Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

Repair or replace harness.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Replace electronic stability program control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
3. Turn ignition switch ON.
4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM" using CONSULT.
5. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .

Is DTC "C107D-86" detected?

YES

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO
