Was the steering component parts replaced?

YES 

GO TO STEP 2  .

NO 

GO TO STEP 3  .

Check the component parts number.

Is the component parts number correct?

YES 

GO TO STEP 3  .

NO 

Install the correct component parts.

• Steering gear assembly: Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
• EPS control unit: Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

With CONSULT 

1. Erase the self-diagnosis result for "EPS/DAST 3".
2. Perform the reset of coding of EPS control unit. Refer to DESCRIPTION .
