Diagnostic Test

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Remove engine coolant temperature sensor.
3. Check the resistance between coolant temperature sensor terminals.

YES

NO 

Replace coolant temperature sensor. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION .
