DRIVER SIDE: Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK DRIVER SIDE POWER WINDOW MOTOR INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect driver side power window motor connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between driver side power window motor harness connector and ground.
Terminal Power window main switch condition Voltage (V) (Approx.) (+) (-) Driver side power window motor connector Terminal D10 6 Ground UP Battery voltage DOWN 0 3 UP 0 DOWN Battery voltage Is the measurement value within the specification?
YES: Replace driver side power window motor. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: GO TO 2.
- CHECK POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH OUTPUT SIGNAL
Check voltage between power window main switch connector and ground.
Terminal Power window main switch condition Voltage (V) (Approx.) (+) (-) Power window main switch connector Terminal D8 8 Ground Driver side UP Battery voltage DOWN 0 11 UP 0 DOWN Battery voltage Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Replace power window main switch. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect power window main switch connector.
- Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and driver side power window motor harness connector.
Power window main switch connector Terminal Driver side power window motor connector Terminal Continuity D8 8 D10 6 Existed 11 3 - Check continuity between power window main switch harness connector and ground.
Power window main switch connector Terminal Ground Continuity D8 8 Not existed 11 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4.
NO: Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
