Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK KEY SLOT POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect key slot connector.
- Check voltage between key slot harness connector and ground.VOLTAGE SPECIFICATION
(+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) Key slot Connector Terminal M22 1 Ground Battery voltage 5 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Go to 2.
NO-1: Check 10 A fuse [No. 6 and 9 located in the fuse block (J/B)].
NO-2: Check harness for open or short between key slot and fuse.
- CHECK KEY SLOT GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between key slot harness connector and ground.
CONTINUITY SPECIFICATIONKey slot Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M22 7 Existed Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace key slot. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Repair or replace harness.
