Personal Lamp Control Does Not Operate

- CHECK REAR DOOR SWITCH
CONSULT-III DATA MONITOR
- Select "INT LAMP" of BCM data monitor item.
- Check that switches listed in display item list turn ON-OFF linked with switch operation. Refer to CONSULT-III Functions (BCM) for switches and their functions.
OK or NG
OK: GO TO 2.
NG: Inspect malfunctioning rear door switch.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect personal lamp connector.
- Open rear door.
- Check continuity between personal lamp (RH and LH) harness connectors and ground.
PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUITPersonal lamp connector Terminal Ground Continuity RH R55 1 Yes LH R54 1 OK or NG
OK: GO TO 3.
NG: Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP INPUT
Check voltage between personal lamp harness connector and ground.

OK: Replace personal lamp. Refer to "PERSONAL LAMP ".
NG: GO TO 4.
- CHECK PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM connector.
- Check continuity between BCM harness connector and personal lamp harness connector.
PERSONAL LAMP CIRCUITBCM Personal lamp Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M4 41 RH R55 2 Yes LH R54 OK or NG
OK: Replace BCM if personal lamp does not work after setting the connector again. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF BCM ".
NG: Repair harness or connector.
