Room Light Switch: Inspection

INSPECT ROOM LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

ROOM LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
5 (FCTY) - 10 (FLMP)	Room light switch DOOR	Below 1 Ω
10 (FLMP) - 7 (E)	Room light switch ON	Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

Inspect the switch illumination.
1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 (ILL+) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4 (ILL-).
2. Check that the light comes on.
  OK: Light illuminates.
  
  If the result is not as specified, replace doom light switch.
