High Mounted Stop Light Assembly: Removal

HINT:

Perform these procedures only when replacing the high mounted stop light assembly.

  1. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY 
    1. for Regular Cab:

      Remove the headlining (see REMOVAL ).

    2. for Double Cab:

      Remove the headlining (see REMOVAL ).

  2. REMOVE HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts.

    2. Disconnect the connectors and clamp, and remove the stop light.
  3. REMOVE HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT GASKET 
    1. Remove the gasket.
