Hazard Warning Switch: Inspection

- INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SWITCH
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance
HAZARD WARNING SWITCHTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1 - 4 Hazard warning switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher Hazard warning switch ON Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the warning switch.
- Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 3 and the negative (-) lead to terminal 2.
- Check that the light comes on.
OK: Light comes on
If the result is not as specified, replace the warning switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
