Cargo Light Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT CARGO LIGHT SWITCH 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      CARGO LIGHT SWITCH

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      5 (FCTY) - 9 (FLON) Cargo light switch ON Below 1 Ω
      Cargo light switch DOOR
      Cargo light switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher
      10 (FLMP) - 7 (E) Cargo light switch ON Below 1 Ω
      Cargo light switch DOOR 10 kΩ or higher
      Cargo light switch OFF

      If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.

    2. Inspect the switch illumination.
      1. Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 (ILL+) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4 (ILL-).
      2. Check that the door courtesy light comes on.

        OK: Light comes on. 

        If the result is not as specified, replace the light switch.
