Cargo Light Switch: Inspection

- INSPECT CARGO LIGHT SWITCH
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance
CARGO LIGHT SWITCHTester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 5 (FCTY) - 9 (FLON) Cargo light switch ON Below 1 Ω Cargo light switch DOOR Cargo light switch OFF 10 kΩ or higher 10 (FLMP) - 7 (E) Cargo light switch ON Below 1 Ω Cargo light switch DOOR 10 kΩ or higher Cargo light switch OFF If the result is not as specified, replace the switch.
- Inspect the switch illumination.
- Connect the battery's positive (+) lead to terminal 1 (ILL+) and the negative (-) lead to terminal 4 (ILL-).
- Check that the door courtesy light comes on.
OK: Light comes on.
If the result is not as specified, replace the light switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
