Navigation Antenna: Removal

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
- Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (see INITIALIZATION ).
- After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the navigation system requires approximately 90 seconds to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the ignition switch OFF, wait 90 seconds or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE NO. 1 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT WITH NO. 2 HEATER TO REGISTER DUCT (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE NO. 2 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE NO. 1 SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE DUCT (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE DEFROSTER NOZZLE ASSEMBLY (See DISASSEMBLY )
- REMOVE NAVIGATION ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
- Detach the clamp.
- Remove the 2 screws and antenna.
