Transponder Key Amplifier: Removal

REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER
1. While turning the steering wheel to the right and left, remove the 2 screws.
2. Detach the 2 claws and remove the lower steering column cover.

REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER
1. Using a screwdriver, widen the claws attached to the upper bracket by approximately 1 mm (0.0394 in.).
2. Pull out the transponder key amplifier with the claws open.
  NOTE: Take care not to apply excessive force to prevent the case from being damaged.
