Component Inspection

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect A/T device (detention switch) connector.
3. Check continuity between A/T device (detention switch) terminals as follows.
   CONTINUITY SPECIFICATION
   
   

   A/T device (detention switch)			Condition		Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   M137	10	11	A/T selector lever	P position	Not existed
   				Other than above	Existed

Is the inspection result normal? 

YES: INSPECTION END

NO: Replace A/T device. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
