Component Function Check

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "PARK BRAKE SW" in "Data monitor" mode with CONSULT-III.
3. Check parking brake switch signal under the following conditions.
   MONITOR ITEM CONDITION CHART
   
   

   Monitor item	Condition		Status
   PARK BRAKE SW	Parking brake	Applied	ON
   		Release	OFF

Is the indication normal? 

YES: INSPECTION END

NO: Perform diagnosis procedure. Refer to , "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
