Automatic Operation

AUTOMATIC OPERATION

Function Description
Memory switch operation The seat, steering wheel and door mirror move to the stored driving position by pushing memory switch.
Entry / Exiting function Return operation At entry, the seat and steering wheel return from the exiting position to the previous driving position.
Turnout operation At exit, the seat moves backward, and the steering wheel moves forward and upward.
NOTE:
  • Disconnecting the battery erases the stored memory.
  • After connecting the battery, insert the key into the ignition cylinder and turn the driver door switch ON (open)-->OFF (close)-->ON (open), the Entry / exiting function becomes possible.
AUTOMATIC OPERATION

Auto operation stop conditions.
  • When the vehicle speed becomes 7 km/h (4 MPH) or higher.
  • When the manual switch is operated.
  • When any two or more switches among the setting switch, memory switch 1, or 2 are pressed simultaneously.
  • When the tilt sensor or telescoping sensor malfunction is detected.
  • When the A/T selector lever is shifted to a position other than P-position.
NOTE: During automatic operation, if the ignition switch is turned ON-->START, the automatic operation is suspended. When the ignition switch returns to ON, it resumes.
