Check Telescopic Sensor Circuit
- CHECK STEERING WHEEL TILT MECHANISM
Check the operation malfunction caused by steering wheel tilt mechanism deformation or parts are loose.
OK or NG
- OK : GO TO 2.
- NG : Repair the malfunctioning part and check again.
- CHECK FUNCTION
With CONSULT-II
Operate the telescopic switch with "TELESCO SEN" on the DATA MONITOR to check that the voltage changes.

- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.CONNECTORS VOLTAGE REFERENCE

OK or NG
- OK : System is OK.
- NG : GO TO 3.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
- Disconnect BCM connector and telescopic sensor connector.
- Check continuity harness between BCM connector M4 terminals 53, 54, 62 and telescopic sensor connector M59 terminals 1, 2, 3.
53 (L/W) - 3 (L/W) : Continuity should exist.
54 (B/Y) - 1 (LG/B) : Continuity should exist.
62 (P/B) - 2 (P/B) : Continuity should exist.
- Check continuity harness between BCM connector M4 terminals 53, 54, 62 and ground.

OK or NG
- OK : Replace telescopic sensor.
- NG : Repair or replace harness between BCM and telescopic sensor.
