Climate Controlled Seat Switch Circuit Inspection

  1. CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT SWITCH 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect climate controlled seat switch connector.
    3. Check continuity between climate controlled seat switch.

    B20 (driver side)*
    B19 (passenger side)    		 1 3 Climate controlled seat switch HEAT Yes
    Other than above. No
    2 Climate controlled seat switch COOL Yes
    Other than above. No

    OK or NG 

    OK: GO TO 2.

    NG: Replace climate controlled seat switch.

  2. CHECK CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT SWITCH HARNESS CIRCUIT 
    1. Disconnect climate controlled seat control unit connector.
    2. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit connector and climate controlled seat switch connector.
      • Driver side
        CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT CONTROL UNIT AND CLIMATE CONTROLLED SEAT SWITCH CONNECTOR CONTINUITY (DRIVER SIDE)

    3. Check continuity between climate controlled seat control unit connector and ground.

    OK: Replace climate controlled seat control unit.
