Seat Memory Switch Circuit Inspection

With CONSULT-II 

With "SET SW, MEMORY SW1 MEMORY SW2" on the DATA MONITOR, operate the switch to check ON/OFF operation.

Without CONSULT-II 

Carry out "switch monitor" in the on-board diagnosis function, and operate "Setting switch, memory switch 1, memory switch 2" to check. Refer to "SWITCH MONITOR ".

OK or NG 

1. OK: System is OK.
2. NG: GO TO 2.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect seat memory switch connector.
3. Check continuity between seat memory switch connector and ground.

OK or NG 

1. OK: GO TO 3.
2. NG: Replace seat memory switch.

1. Disconnect BCM connector.
2. Check continuity between BCM connector M4 terminals 39 (G), 43 (OR), 50 (R/Y) and seat memory switch connector D3 terminals 1 (G), 2 (OR), 3 (R/Y).
   1. 39 (G) - 1 (G): Continuity should exist. 
   2. 43 (OR) - 2 (OR): Continuity should exist. 
   3. 50 (R/Y) - 3 (R/Y): Continuity should exist. 
3. Check continuity between BCM connector M4 terminals 39 (G), 43 (OR), 50 (R/Y) and ground.
   1. 39 (G) - Ground: Continuity should not exist. 
   2. 43 (OR) - Ground: Continuity should not exist. 
   3. 50 (R/Y) - Ground: Continuity should not exist.

OK or NG 

1. OK: GO TO 4.
2. NG: Repair or replace harness between BCM and seat memory switch.

Check continuity at harness between seat memory switch D3 terminal 4 (B) and ground.

1. 4 (B) - Ground: Continuity should exist. 

OK or NG 

1. OK: Replace BCM.
2. NG: Repair or replace harness between seat memory switch and ground.
