DTC Confirmation Test

NOTE: Use the following test to check overall function of cooling fan. During this test, 1st trip DTC may not be confirmed.
  1. Allow engine to cool. Check coolant level and mixture ratio in radiator and reservoir tank. If coolant level and ratio are okay, go to next step. If coolant level is low, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If coolant mixture ratio is out of range, drain and fill coolant with a 45-55 percent coolant to water ratio.
  2. Ask customer if coolant was added. If coolant was added, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
