ASCD Cable
NOTE:
Before adjusting ASCD cable, ensure accelerator cable is properly adjusted. See ACCELERATOR CABLE

CAUTION:
DO NOT twist or overtighten cable wire during adjustment procedure.
Loosen ASCD cable lock nut and adjusting nut. See Fig 1 . Tighten adjusting nut until throttle drum starts to move. Loosen adjusting nut 1/2 to 1 turn. Tighten cable lock nut to 71-89 INCH lbs. (8-10 N.m).
