Checking Fluid Level

Stop engine before performing a fluid level check.
Ensure that the fluid level is between the MAX range and MIN range.

Because the fluid level differs within the HOT range and the COLD range, check it carefully.
1. HOT : Fluid temperatures from 50 to 80°C (122 to 176°F)
2. COLD : Fluid temperatures from 0 to 30°C (32 to 86°F)
CAUTION:
- Do not overfill (above the MAX level) because it is cause of leaks from the cap portion.
- Do not reuse the drained power steering fluid.
- Recommended fluid is Genuine NISSAN PSF or equivalent. Do not use NISSAN PSF and special NISSAN matic fluid.
