DTC P0182: Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor Circuit Low Input Or P0183: Fuel Tank Temperature Sensor Circuit High Input: Description

The Fuel Tank Temperature (FTT) sensor is used to detect fuel temperature inside the fuel tank. The sensor modifies a voltage signal from the ECM. The modified signal returns to the ECM as fuel temperature input. The sensor uses a thermistor which is sensitive to changes in temperature. The electrical resistance of the thermistor decreases as temperature increases.
